Tryon Palace Monthly African American Walking Tour Set for May

The monthly Tryon Palace African American Heritage Tour will explore more than 20 historic locations around downtown New Bern at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

The Tryon Palace African American Heritage Tour is a walking tour that will be offered on the third Sunday of each month through November.

Tours begin at 2 p.m. at the Waystation, located on the corner of George and Pollock streets. Tickets are included with the purchase of a One Day Pass, or may be purchased separately at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for youth. Space is limited.

Admission is free for Tryon Palace Foundation members.
